Ride For A Cause

I'm sure we have all heard the phrase "Live to Ride, Ride to Live".
For many years, motorcycle owners and enthusiasts have used their bikes as a way to raise funds for charities.
The biker community is a close knit family of motorcycle owners of all walks of life.

That's why we always throw a hand out going down the road
when we see another biker, or pull over if we see a bike on the side of the road...it's part of the "code".
We look out for each other and have come together many times in the name of brotherhood and charity.
Life on 2 wheels is different and we take care of our own as well as others we don't know.

There are many different charity rides that utilize the motorcycle community to benefit people in need, on a national and a local level.
When you come into Harley-Davidson of Cartersville, always take a moment to check out the bulletin board in our customer lounge.
There you'll find fliers about current and upcoming rides for all kinds of causes that help others.
If you're going to ride, why not ride for a cause???

Why We Shop Here at Harley-Davidson of Cartersville

We all work hard for our money and we have the right to choose where we do business.
As a consumer myself, I like to give my business to those places that "earn" it.
The way to earn my business is simple.
I like to be treated as a guest rather than a customer and I like to be called by my name instead of "Sir."
In short, I like to feel like I'm part of a family of friends instead of just another faceless, nameless, number.

Also, I want to feel appreciated when I put my money down.
Harley-Davidson of Cartersville was founded on those key principles.
From our little store on Tennessee Street, we have grown to be a force to reckon with in the entire Southeast.

Our customers come from all over the U.S. to do business here in Cartersville!
We have not forgotten our roots or when we came from.
The loyalty of our family of customers has built our business to where it is today.
I was a customer long before I became an employee.
I'm proud to be part of a place where a person's word still means something and a good old fashion handshake seals a deal.

Riding Position.....the Ergonomic Triangle

We've all heard the term 'riding position' but what exactly does it mean?

Motorcycles have an ergonomic triangle.  An ergonomic triangle refers to the distance between the seat & the handle bars, the seat & the foot position, and the distance & position between the handlebars and the foot position.

Riding position is critical in managing road fatigue, as well as maximizing control of your motorcycle.
Riders come in all shapes & sizes.
Height, inseam, & the length of your arms all play a part in the equation.
It's important to consider your physical stature when choosing a motorcycle or when outfitting your current bike to make it more comfortable & easy to ride.

Harley offers a wide variety of seats, handlebars, risers, and foot controls to custom fit your Harley-Davidson to your liking & get you out there on the way to your next adventure!!!
