 The Army/Navy E Award, also known as the production award, was given to companies that excelled in the production of wartime equiptment. The award consisted of penants and emblems for all the employees to wear, Harley-Davidson was presented this award at a ceremony held at Juneau Ave. on May 12, 1943. By the end of the war, the company earned 3 more E Awards for its exemplory work in war production.
