This month in Harley-Davidson history

  Alot has happened in the month of June throught the history of Harley-Davidson. On June 3rd 1905, Perry Mack on his Harley-Davidson set the 1-miles record for a motorcycle with a time of 1 minute 16 seconds. On June 13th 1975 Lerry Roeseler and Bruce Ogilvie win the Bja 500 on the Harley-Davidson 250. They were the 1st and only H-D riders to achieve such a feat. and the biggest date June 16, 1981 where H-D acquired by AMF in 1969, was purchased back by a group of 13 H-D executives just 12 years later.
